1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the MAIML platform, AI agent infrastructure, and all related services operated by Preferred Data Corporation. By using MAIML, you agree to comply with this policy.

2. Acceptable Use

You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by users you provision and agents you deploy. You must ensure compliance with all applicable laws and maintain the security of your account credentials.

3. Prohibited Activities

3.1 Illegal Activities

You may not use MAIML to violate any applicable law, infringe intellectual property rights, engage in fraud, facilitate illegal activities, or violate export controls.

3.2 Security Violations

You may not attempt unauthorized access to any system, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, breach security measures, interfere with platform operations, or reverse engineer our software.

3.3 Malicious Content

You may not use agents to transmit malware, phishing content, hacking tools, or any content designed to facilitate unauthorized system access.

3.4 Resource Abuse

You may not consume excessive resources that degrade service for other users, conduct denial-of-service attacks, use agents for cryptocurrency mining without explicit permission, or circumvent rate limits.

3.5 AI and Agent Guidelines

AI agents deployed on MAIML must comply with this AUP. You must maintain human oversight of deployed agents, may not use agents to generate malicious or illegal content, and must respect rate limits and usage quotas.

4. Security Requirements

  • Use strong, unique passwords for all accounts
  • Enable multi-factor authentication when available
  • Report suspected unauthorized access immediately
  • Do not share credentials between users
  • Implement access controls appropriate to your data sensitivity

5. Data Usage

You must have the legal right to store and process any data you provide to MAIML agents. You must comply with all applicable data protection laws, secure regulated data appropriately, and maintain backups of critical data.

6. Monitoring and Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor platform usage, investigate suspected violations, remove violating content, suspend or terminate accounts, and report illegal activity to appropriate authorities.

7. Reporting Violations

Report AUP violations to abuse@maiml.com with a description of the violation, relevant dates, and any supporting evidence.

8. Consequences

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, legal action, or law enforcement referral, depending on the severity and frequency of violations.

9. Appeal Process

If your account is suspended or terminated, you may appeal by contacting legal@maiml.com with your account information and an explanation. Reviews typically take 5-10 business days.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
